It has been quite awhile since I posted anything. Like many "Life gets in the way" sometimes. I have been working on a book about ancestors and reasearching others which has been time consuming but none the less interesting. Then summer came along, and with it gardening and a severe drought in our area which complicated matters. Living in the country poses challenges. Fortunately, the well did not go dry but the pond almost did causing many of our plants to suffer, not to mention the garden. Weddings, funerals, vacation, where did the time go. Before I knew it summer was coming to a close. Just a few days ago while cleaning up files I realized that disaster had struck. My website links were all broken. Yikes! I thought at first it was just a few but was soon to discover it was many.
Emergency. I had to get the pages back together. Unfortunately no one told me or it would have not been such a big job. Not sure how it happened but I think I have Humpty-Dumpty back in order. I realize how important it is to have links that work and how frustrating it is when they don't. Imagine my dismay when I realized it was my site. I am hoping I have fixed them all, but not sure. It was a tedious job that took me over three days. Going back to all the Archived blogs and making sure the links worked. I would encourage anyone to advise me of any that I may have missed. I know I will do the same for any website I see now. I have in the past and will continue to do so. I would hate to see anyone having the tedious job of mending broken links.

Thank you for repairing it. I am descended from Robert Stevenson McEwan and Annie Baker...
